Towpath Trail 4-H Club
The Towpath Trail 4-H Club met July 12th for their prejudging meeting. Judging will be this Saturday at the Stark Counrty Fair grounds, begining at 10 am. When judging finishes the judges will break for lunch and to decide who will go to state and who wins county. The judging results will be announced around 2 or 3 pm and ribbons awarded to the winners. Or next meeting will be July 26th to discuss fair booth decoration ideas. The Stark County Fair will be August 30th thru September 5th, come join the Stark County people in this week long fun filled event. If you want the best "Moo Shakes" stop by the fair and get one, located near the cow barns, they are made with REAL dairy milk! History Club Meeting
There will be a regular meeting of the Perry Twp. History Club on Wed., July 21st, 6-8 pm at the Perry Police Department Community Room. Enter at the rear lower level. Find out the latest news on progress being made on the Genoa Schoolhouse Project.

Perry D.A.R.E. 4th Annual Car Show
Friday, June 25th
at Perry High School from 6-9 p.m., the Perry D.A.R.E. 4th Annual Car Show will be held.

Dash Plaques and goody bags to the first 100 cars. Door prizes every half hour. Trivia contests through-out the evening. Hula Hoop contest and climbing wall for the kids. Good food available. Buckeye Beats with Lee Foster will provide music. There will be an $8 registration fee with all proceeds going to the Perry D.A.R.E. Program. 20 trophies awarded through participant judging and Best of Show chosen by Perry Police Officers. If you are proud of it, bring it to the show! Perry Twp. History Club
Regular business meetings are held at the Perry Township Police Dept. Community Room, lower level, enter rear of building. Summer meetings will be:

July 21, Wed. 6-8pm. Report on the 1893 Genoa Schoolhouse progress at 539 Genoa Ave. SW, Massillon will be updated.

The Lincoln Highway BUY-WAY yard sale will be Thurs., Aug. 5 & Sat., Aug. 7 in the front parking lot of Central Catholic HS; vendors are still needed.

Fairless Community Lion’s Club
The Fairless Community Lion’s Club is having a membership drive. They meet the 2nd & 4th Mondays at 6:30 pm at Anderson’s in the Village, 97 Canal St. West in Navarre. Aluminum Cans
The Navarre-Bethlehem Twp. Historical Society is in need of aluminum cans to raise funds to meet the rising costs and expenses of maintaining the Mathews House Museum and Heritage Education Center. Aluminum cans can be brought to the society on Wednesday mornings or left in a special barrel for aluminum at the door to the Heritage Center at the rear of the Mathews House. The Mathews House Museum is located at 123 High Street or 124 Canal Street in Navarre. Easy parking is available for unloading any aluminum cans. The society welcomes everyone in the area to make the historical society their recycling center for aluminum cans.

Historical Society
The Mount Eaton - Paint Township Historical Society is open on the 2nd Saturday of each month May through November from 11:00 to 3:30 pm or by appointment by calling 330-280-4490. The Museum is located on the square of Mount Eaton, 8625 S. Main Street, Mt. Eaton.
