Massillon Museum Board Meeting
The Massillon Museum will hold its monthly board meeting on Wednesday, July 27, at 4:00 p.m., in the Fred F. Silk Community Room at the Massillon Museum.

Historical Society Meeting
The Brewster Sugar Creek Township Historical Society met for a scheduled meeting on July 19 at 2 pm in the Wandle Hose. There were six members in attendance. The minutes were approved as presented. A motion to approve the treasurer’s report was made by Wallace Davis, seconded by Erma Melson. Motion passed. Bob advised the members that the printer broke and is presently being held together with duct tape. A motion was made by Mike Buchtel to buy a new printer photo copier, seconded by Wallace Davis. Motion passed.
A motion was made by Wallace Davis to purchase 500 pens to sell as a promotional project. The pens will have a picture of the Wandle House and the Veterans Memorial on them. Seconded by Kathryn Steele. Motion carried. Bob advised the members that he cultivated the flower beds and used some weed killer on some areas where necessary. Judy Maybaugh will be in charge of the calendar project. We will furnish the photos and the artist will make paintings that will be put on the calendars. Bob suggested the possibility of having luncheon meetings at about noon on meeting day instead of 2 pm. Bob advised that we must have a membership committee and someone who will be willing to take care and promote activities.
